Luella "Lou" Mary Picard

Picard- The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, October 17, 2009, of Luella "Lou” Picard, of Summerside, aged 82 years. Born in The Pas, MB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nora (Nixon) Petersen. Survived by her husband Gilbert "Ted" Picard, Summerside; children Gary Picard, Edmonton, AB; Cheryl Picard (Charles Silliphant), Ottawa, ON; Judith MacLellan, Summerside; Rick (Joanne) Picard, Ottawa, ON; Robert (Mary) Picard, Summerside; Brenda Picard, Mount Stewart; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and by a brother Gordon Petersen, BC. Predeceased by her brothers Kenneth and Leonard; and sisters Helen and Estella. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Monday from 6-8 p.m. Memorial donations to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund, the Alzheimer’s Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
