Leard - The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, September 20, 2015, of Rayona Leard, of The Mews Seniors Residence, Margate, formerly of Tryon and Summerside, aged 82 years. Born in Tryon, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Eleanor (Thomas) Leard. Beloved sister of Lorraine MacNeill, Long Creek and Donna (Cyrus) Gallant, South Freetown; nieces and nephews Bonnie (Keith) Fraser, Kevin MacNeill, Roger (Jeannie) MacNeill, Tracy Gallant (Cory Matthews) and Duane Gallant (Cecilia Gallant); and by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her step-father Fenton Wilson and brother-in-law Mackie MacNeill. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Westmoreland Baptist Cemetery, Westmoreland. Visiting hours Tuesday from 6 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Westmoreland Baptist Cemetery would be appreciated.
