Matthews– The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, of Margaret "Peg" (MacDougall) Matthews, a longtime resident of Summerside, aged 97 years. Born in Glenwood, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lena (Dumville) MacDougall.  Survived by her children Wayne (Jocelyne), Judy (Blair) Wilkie and George (Debbie); grandchildren Wayne (Darcie) Wilkie, Karine Matthews and Gregory Matthews; great grandchildren Alexandra, Seonna, Kenan and Elon Wilkie; great-great granddaughter Summer Reilly; and by a brother Keith (Doris) MacDougall. Predeceased by her husband Gerald Matthews; brother Everett (May) MacDougall; sister Dorothy Major; brothers-in-law Weldon (Alfretta) Matthews, Fred (Thelma) Matthews, Lloyd (Velda) Matthews and Elmer (Carrie) Matthews. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Friday, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. to time of service.  Interment in the Bethel United Church Cemetery, West Cape.  Memorial donations to the Bethel United Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
