Ellis –The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, January 11, 2016, of Wendell Preston Ellis, of Summerside, aged 71 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of Ferne (Williams) Ellis and the late Lloyd Ellis.  Survived by his wife Sandra (Leard) Ellis; children Stephen Ellis ( Jeong-in Kim) and Lori Ann Ellis (George Postma); grandchildren Jamie Ellis, Emma Ellis and Liam Wendell Ellis-Postma; sisters Mabel (Alan) Crue, Marion (Claude) Waugh, Marlene (Bob) Cameron; and by a brother Wayne Ellis (Diane Racette).  Predeceased by a brother David Ellis. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.  A reception will be held for family and friends, at Trinity United Church, Summerside, immediately following the funeral service.  Interment later in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Port Hill.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated.
