Murphy - The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, December 3, 2016, of Hazel Murphy, of Summerside, aged 97 years.  Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Joseph "Joe Phillip" and Virginia (Gallant) Arsenault.  Survived by her sisters Frances "Fran" Bernard and Shirley Arsenault; sister-in-law Marion Arsenault and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Alex Murphy; brothers Wilfred and Gilbert Arsenault; sisters Mary Martin and Beatrice Arsenault; and by brothers-in-law Sylvere "Syl" Bernard and John T. (Theresa) Murphy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 1:30 p.m.. Interment in St. James Catholic Church Cemetery, Summerfield. Visiting hours Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.  Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
