Crooks – Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, of Alice Crooks, of Cape Traverse, aged 79 years. Born in Lady Fane, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Christina (MacDonald) Fall. Survived by her children David (Lin) Crooks, Susan (Jamie) Foy, Judy (Darrell) Platts and Debbie Crooks; grandchildren Season Dawn Crooks, Charlotte (Marc) Campbell, Wesley (Jennifer) Foy, Jennifer (Jason) Hill, Christenna (Christopher) Weimann and Shelby Platts; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters Gert MacDonald, Jean Walsh and Kay Paynter; and by a brother Heber (Margie) Fall.. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Crooks; brothers-in-law Holly MacDonald, Allison Walsh and Arthur Paynter; sister-in-law Esther (Earl) Carr; and by a brother-in-law Iley (Mae) Crooks. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.  Interment later in the Cape Traverse United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday from 5-8  p.m.  Memorial donations to the Cape Traverse United Church Cemetery or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
