Howatt – The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, of Harold Howatt, of Summerside, aged 96 years. Born in New Glasgow, P.E.I., he was the son of the late Mortimer and Pearl (Brown) Howatt Survived by his wife Eileen (Chappell) Howatt; children Jean Bryanton; Ray, Clayton (Cathy), Bruce (Yvette) and Barry (Melanie) Howatt; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Carla Howatt; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Gordon Howatt; daughter-in-law Valerie Ellis; sisters Margaret Bears and Vivian Toombs; and by a brother Stirling Howatt. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Friday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
