(Bob , deceased), Cloverdale, BC; Robert ( Tess),
Mississauga, ON; and Beth (Neil), Calgary, AB; grandchildren Kenzee
and Kelsey (Cody); great-grandson Everett; and by numerous
other extended family. A CELEBRATION OF HER
LIFE and reception will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the
Linkletter Community Centre, 1670 Linkletter Road, from 2 to 4
pm. Friends and Family will be invited to share
stories and memories of this most talented lady.
Shirley was born in New Brunswick and adopted by her island
for 54 years. She will be sadly missed by her family and very
cherished friends who loved and cared for her.
She was always an advocate for P.E.I. Trade and Commerce and
wherever she went, she would say "When you come to the Island
look me up," as she passed them a coin from the
‘Chamber’.
"Shirl" loved a good story and a vigorous game of
cards. She was fiercely independent, competitive and extremely
talented and artistic.
She viewed her life as a painting in progress. Seldom the
image you started with but significantly improved by the
evolution and challenge that finished it. That is our Mother and
Friend.
Thank you to the wonderful caregivers at Prince County
Hospital and our friend, Dr. Kelly.
Completion of funeral arrangements entrusted to Moase Funeral
Home, Summerside. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital
Foundation would be appreciated.
