Brown- With the wonderful support of the Integrated Palliative Care Team, the death occurred peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 11, 2017, of Valerie "Val" Brown, of Summerside, aged 75 years.  Born in Salisbury, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Donald and Irene (O’Blenis) MacWilliam.  Val is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughters Stephanie (Paul) Bradley and Vanda (Steven) DesRoches; her cherished grandchildren Vanessa (Brett) Carragher, Nathan (Angie) DesRoches, Patrick DesRoches (Hana Geldart) and Alex Bradley; great-grandsons Charlie and Thomas DesRoches and the anticipated "Baby Carragher"; sister-in-law Nancy MacWilliam; and by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her husband Charles "Charlie" Brown; a brother Bob MacWilliam; and by numerous other extended family members. Val had a tremendous zest for life. Family and friends were always her priority. She impacted all those around her with her quick wit and humour.
