HOLT– The death occurred at her late residence, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, of Dorothy Holt, of Summerside, aged 94 years. Veteran of WWII. Born in Cape Wolfe, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Charlotte (Costain) Crossman. Survived by her children Sheila (Denis) Rushton, Edward (Dianne) Holt, Barbara (Rick) Niblett, Debbie (Rick) Schweers and David (Darlene) Holt; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Carol Muirhead; son-in-law Raymond Gallant; and by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her husband Peter Holt; son Elmer Crossman; daughter Frances Holt-Gallant; grandson Scott Holt; granddaughter Carrie Crossman; great-grandsons Matthew McMurrer and Lucas Getson; brothers Charles (Elsie) Crossman and William Crossman, in infancy; sister and brother-in-law Ruby (Ottis) MacKinnon. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m.  Memorial donations to the Salvation Army Food Bank or Meals on Wheels would be appreciated. Members of the Summerside Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, will hold a Service of Remembrance, at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:45 p.m.
