Downing-Landry – The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, June 24, 2017, of Sarah Downing-Landry of Summerside, aged 56 years. Born in Summerside, she is the daughter of Elizabeth (Gillespie) Downing and the late Dr. John Downing. Survived by her beloved husband Allan Landry; sisters Sue Kirby (Bob Cerniuk), Ann (Don) Currie and by her brother John Downing; step-son Matthew Landry (Christine Dowling); step-grandson Grayson; and by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private family funeral service will be held. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours on Tuesday for family and friends from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated.
