Gallant – Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, of Mike "Pinky" Gallant, of Summerside, aged 61 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Comillus and Ruth (Finnan) Gallant.  Survived by his wife Patricia (McIver) Gallant; daughter Jennifer Gallant; sons Bradley (Katie), Brett (Jenessa) and Alex; grandchildren Jack, Ellie and Jayce; brothers Pat, Joe, Darren (Tera), Terry (Tanya) and Kenny (Tracie);  a sister Samantha Gallant; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law James (Karen) McIver, Bernard (Rosemary) McIver, Debbie McIver, Michael (Mary) McIver, Catherine (Patrick) McSweeney, Jacqueline (Kenny) Lawless and David McIver (Peggy Sue Payne); numerous nieces, nephews and by his large extended family.  Predeceased by his sister Cindy and a brother Jimmy, in infancy; and by brother-in-law Paul McIver. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Malachy’s Cemetery, Kinkora. Visiting hours Sunday from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to KidSport PEI would be appreciated.
