Allen – The death occurred, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, October 11, 2019, of Georgina Allen, R.N., of Summerside, aged 93 years. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late John and Jean (Hughes) Greenan. Survived by her children Debbie  Keough-Croken (Arnold Croken), David (Cheryl) Allen and Maribeth (George) Roberts; grandchildren Andrea (Liam) Hickey, Danielle Keough-Delgado (David Delgado), Rebecca (Jon) Cheverie, Brandon (Jessica) Croken, Emma Croken, Rodney Croken, Jennifer Croken, Lori Allen (Robbie Shaw), Amanda (Robert) Moffatt, Joey Allen; Colton, Olivia, Lance and Cameron Roberts; 16 great-grandchildren; her sisters Vange O’Rourke,  Madeline MacEwen and Mildred Connelly; and by a sister-in-law Lorraine Allen. Predeceased by her husband Gerard Allen; brothers Vernon (Mildred), Maurice (Winnie) and Bordon (Noreen) Greenan; sisters Mary (Sebinus) Johnston, Eunice (Mait) Laidlaw, Myrtle (Bernard) Gillis and Adele (Gus) Connolly; and by brothers-in-law Paul O’Rourke, Sheldon MacEwen and Frank Connelly. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
