Aucoin – The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Thursday, October 22, 2020, of Arthur "Art" Aucoin, of Summerside, aged 73 years. Born in Mont Carmel, he was the son of the late Cyril Aucoin and Irene (Chaisson) Aucoin-Arsenault. Survived by his wife Darlene (Hashie) Aucoin; children Dennis (Marina) Aucoin, Amanda (Cecil) Oatway and Tracey Woodward; grandchildren Matthew, Chelsie, Khalie, Jake, Cole and Chloe; brothers and sisters Henry (Doris) Aucoin, Norma (Ralph) Sonier, Alphonse (Joyce) Aucoin and Anita (Sheldon) Bennett; sisters-in-law Janet Aucoin and Esther Dumas; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Emmanuel and Alyre Aucoin; step-brother Melvin Arsenault; and step-father Arsene Arsenault. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside where a private family funeral service will be held. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
