Alvin Wayne Wilkie

Wilkie - The death occurred at his late residence, on Sunday, July 18, 2010, of Alvin Wilkie, of High Street, Summerside and formerly of Elmsdale, aged 93 years. Born in Alberton, he was the son of the late James and Bertha (Wallace) Wilkie. Survived by his wife Goldie (Williams) Wilkie; children Donna (André) Smith, Lynn (Aubrey) Pridham, Gary (Leatha) Wilkie and Pam (Gordie) Rodgerson; grandchildren Julie (Brian) Drury, Michael (Nicole) Smith, Troy (Lori) Pridham, Lori (Pat) Coyle, Chad and Ryan Wilkie, Lindsay Rodgerson (Aaron Dawson), Jamie and Jeffrey Rodgerson; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Laura Ashley and sister-in-law Myra Wilkie. Predeceased by a daughter Sandra Elizabeth; brothers Arthur, Perez, Elbert, Lloyd and Sterling Wilkie; sisters Thelma Clark, Pearl Mason, Bertha Mollins, Marcia Gordon and Lulu Metherall. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to the Church of the Nazarene, Elmsdale, for funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the Nazarene Cemetery, Elmsdale. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Nazarene Cemetery, Elmsdale, would be appreciated.
