Kelly - The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, December 30, 2011, of Doreen Kelly of Andrews of Summerside, aged 87 years. Born in Millview, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Winnifred (Brown) Grant. Survived by her eight children Ron, Charlottetown; Anne, Hermosa Beach, California; Bob (Marie), Port Hope, Ontario; Patty (Barry) Richard, Summerside; Kathy (Gerry) Laughlin, Summerside; Paula Kelly (Tilmon Pineau), Summerside; Grant (Gail), Oshawa, Ontario; and Jim, Toronto, Ontario; 13 grandchildren, Jason (Rachelle) Kelly, Stratford; Nathan Kelly(Martine d’Entremont)Charlottetown; Tara Kelly (Davey Best), Charlottetown; Nyall (June) Kelly, Cornwall; Nicole Kelly, Vancouver, British Columbia; Ian Kelly, Port Hope, Ontario; Jillian (Jeff) Mahar, Emerald; Jordan Richard, Moncton, New Brunswick; Mike (Jantina) Laughlin, Summerside; Jeff Laughlin (Miranda Gallant), Summerside; Sean Pineau, Summerside; Brett Pineau, Summerside; Sarah Kelly-Jackson (Aaron Jackson), Bentonville, Arkansas; and by seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Kelly; brothers Frank, Victor, Walter, and Arthur Grant; sisters Ruth Crane, Ann McKenna, Mary MacInnis, Ethel Glenn, Rose Grant, and Rita Grant; and by her special nephew Leo McKenna. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Hospice Palliative Care Association of P.E.I. or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
