Perry - The death occurred peacefully, in his home at Andrews of
Summerside, surrounded by his loving family, and by his extended
Andrews of Summerside family, on Saturday, January 7, 2012, of Norman
Perry, aged 90 years. Veteran of the Second World War. Born in
Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas and Hester (Chandler)
Perry. Survived by his three loving daughters and devoted son-in-laws
Debra (Allan) Warren, Travellers Rest; Mary (Wayne) MacDonald,
Kensington; Vicky (Leonard) Richard, Summerside; his grandchildren
Jami (Mike) Januszczak, Tara (Jamie) Perry, Tim (Laura) MacDonald,
Josh (Jill) Warren, Adam Richard (Amanda Fairley) and Alisha Richard
(Christian Chatham); great-grandchildren “Big
Pépé” to Jenna and Kaitlyn Januszczak; Taylyn
Perry; and Jansen and Kade MacDonald; brother Tommy (Dorothy) Perry,
Summerside; and by many nieces, nephews, other extended family and
friends. Predeceased by his wife Leona (Gallant) Perry; brother, James
Perry; and by a sister Eleanora Perry. Resting at the Moase Funeral
Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at1:00
p.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting
hours Monday from 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer
Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Members of the Summerside Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion will
hold a service of remembrance, at the funeral home, Monday at 6:45
p.m. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scents.
