Beaman- The death occurred peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, August 17, 2013, of Gordon David Beaman, of Summerside, aged 79 years.  Born in Meadow, NB, he was the son of the late Leslie and Marie (Steeves) Beaman.  Survived by his wife Marie McNeill; children David (Michelle) Beaman, Summerside; Brad (Robin) Beaman, Oakville, ON; Sandra (Russ) Richardson, Sooke, BC; Donna (Howard) Williams, Tsawwassen, BC; grandchildren Jamie, Meagan (Arthur), Jennifer (Derek), Ryan, Michael, Jake, Greg and Kate; great-granddaughter Ella; step-grandchildren Megan, Jillian, Johanna and Parker; sisters Dolores Horsman, NB; Winona Hansen, BC; Mariam (Howard) MacLellan, NS; Sheila McMackin, NB; father and mother-in-law Ralph and Theresa McNeill; brothers-in-law Austin (Marilyn) Yeomans; Allan (Marlene) McNeill; Leonard (Karen) McNeill; Joe (Paula) McNeill; Garth (Michele) McNeill; Wesley (Trent) McNeill; Kevin (Debbie) McNeill; sisters-in-law Amy Yeomans; Gloria Ryan; Elaine McNeill; Helen (David) Hardy; Ellen (Ken) Minard; Betty (Gale) Gallant; Evelyn Beaman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Kay (Yeomans) Beaman; step-fathers Dewey Wilson and James Marshall; brother Gerald Beaman; brothers-in-law Gordon Yeomans; Ed Ryan; Ken Horsman; Bruce Hansen; Garnet McMackin; sister-in-law Jean Yeomans; and by his daughter-in-law Christine Beaman. Gordon was a flight engineer with the Canadian Armed Forces; an off shore radio operator; and a founding member of the Summerside Amateur Radio Club. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
