Gallant - The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, January 8, 2016, of Roseline "Rosie" Gallant, of Summerside, aged 86 years. Born in St. Hubert, she was the daughter of the late Dolore and Mary Anne Arsenault. Survived by her children Dorothy (Kevin) Peddle, Donna Richards, Raymond Gallant, Melvin (Gail) Gallant, Blaine (Geraldine) Gallant, Laura Livingston, Janet Gallant, Barb Gallant (Blair Bowness), Gerard "Turk" (Pam) Gallant and Erma (Stephen) Gallant; by  16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sons-in-law Vic Richards and Robert Livingston; brothers Leo (Germaine) Arsenault and John (Azele) Arsenault: and by a brother-in-law Raymond Giles. Predeceased by her husband Joseph "Alphie" Gallant; son Lawrence "Larry" Gallant; great-granddaughter Alysha Lynn Richards; daughter-in-law Frances Holt-Gallant; sons-in-law David Cheverie and Ivan O’Brien; sisters Rita Gaudet and Mary Giles; and by a brother Raymond Arsenault, in infancy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 2:30 p.m. Interment later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Arthritis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
