Waite - With great sadness, but
also deep gratitude for the time in which he touched our lives, we
regret to announce the passing of Blake Waite, of Indian River, on
Sunday, March 7, 2021, at the age of 38 years.
Born in Summerside, he is the son of Miriam (MacLean) Waite
and the late Gregory Waite. Survived by his wife Angela (Perry) Waite;
his son Alex; a sister Rev. Kimberley Waite (Vince MacKenzie);
parents-in-law Ron and Carolyn Perry; brother-in-law Jason
"Jay" Perry (Sue McGiveron); sisters-in-law Michelle (Rick)
Compton and Renae Perry (Stephen MacDougall); nephews Joel and Will
Compton; and by numerous extended family.
A well-loved and highly respected part of the community,
Blake personified caring and kindness. As a genuinely dedicated family
man, Blake adored time spent with his wife, Angela, and son, Alex.
True partners in life, Blake and Angela tackled each challenge and
each adventure as a team bound by love and loyalty that began during
their days at Three Oaks High. And whether playing hockey, swimming,
or wheeling, Blake and Alex were an inseparable and loving father/son
duo. To his family, friends, clients, and customers, Blake was
selfless with his time, love, and his support. Without hesitation, he
was the first to lend a hand or offer a kind word to those in need.
His generous spirit and gentle presence will be missed by all those
fortunate enough to have known him.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Completion of
arrangements will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations can
be made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.
