deBelle - It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of George E. C.  deBelle on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. He passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. George was born on December 8, 1940 and lived in Montreal. He was predeceased by his parents William and Norma (MacQuarrie) deBelle; a sister Gail deBelle; and by his brother Peter deBelle. Survived by his niece Joselyne deBelle; a step-niece Teresa Lotoski; and by his many special friends coast to coast.
George worked closely with his father at Park Laign Ltd. and eventually took over the firm for over 40 years. During his time at Park Laign he took great pride in his accomplishments in achieving landmark settlements in the area of real estate tax appeals.
George was a very generous man and mentored many younger individuals. He helped them greatly by paying for their university educations and helped them launch their careers by mentoring them at Park Laign. In his later years George very much enjoyed managing his real estate property portfolio, as well as studying and researching areas of the stock market.
George spent many of his summers and vacations in Summerside, PEI with his family and close friends that live there. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside.
