MacArthur – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Francine MacArthur, of Richmond, aged 64 years, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, March 27, 2023. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Antoinette (Maddix) Bernard. Beloved wife of Douglas MacArthur; loving mother to Katherine (Craig) MacArthur, Toronto, ON; Suzanne MacArthur, Toronto, ON; Jonathan (Maxime) MacArthur, Ottawa, ON; Rachelle (Stuart) Wight, Charlottetown; Malcolm MacArthur, Port Hope, ON. Francine was a loving grandmother to Eloise and Lachlan. She will be forever remembered by her brothers Richard (Tracy) Bernard and John (Karen) Bernard, and by her sister-in-law Frances Scarano. She was predeceased by her brother Edward Bernard. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside until Friday, then to Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment later in St. Philippe et St. Jacques Cemetery, Egmont Bay. Visiting hours Thursday, March 30, from 4-7 p.m. Francine will be remembered for her care and compassion towards others, her love of life and a fun adventure, and above all her devotion to her children and grandchildren. Memorial donations to Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

 Due to severe allergies of some family members, please refrain from wearing scents or perfumes during the visiting hours and funeral mass.
