Ford – The death
occurred, surrounded by her loving family, at the Summerset Manor,
Summerside, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, of Ethel Evelyn Ford, of
Summerside and formerly of Southwest Lot 16, aged 95 years. Born in
Southwest Lot 16, she was the daughter of the late Andrew
"Andy" and Penzy (Campbell) Baglole. Survived by her
children Dorothy Gamble (Wayne Gillis), Randy Ford (Darlene Wadman),
Barry Ford (Chandra Steele), and Shawn Ford; grandchildren, Tracey
Gamble, Natalie Gamble(Dillian), Angele Gamble (Joel), Kyle Ford,
Samantha Steele (Liam), James Ford (Lacey), Jesse Ford (Julia), Effie
Ford, Courtney Sobey, David Sobey, James (Katy) Doucette, and Santana
Arsenault; great-grandchildren, Caraleise, Rory, Mei Lin, Aurora,
Ella, Sulla, Mikayla, Ayden, Harper, Lucas, and Leah; great-great
grandchildren Scarlett and Luca; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie
Gallant, Levi "Junior" Jeffery, Isabel Gallant,
Evelyn Gallant, Georgie Ford, Hazel Pavlinic, Wendell Ford, and Wilma
Ferrier; and by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Predeceased by her husband Spurgeon Ford; son, Rickie Ford;
son-in-law, Victor Gamble; brothers, Carl, Fielding, Claude, Creelman
and Charles Baglole; sisters, Winnifred "Dolly"
MacLeod, Ruby Birch, Florence MacDonald, Dorothy Arsenault, Norma
MacAusland, Velda Gallant and Grace Jeffery; by her father and
mother-in-law, Beecher and Wilma Ford; sister-in-law, Wanda Gosh; and
by a brother-in-law, Raymond Ford. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home,
Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday from
11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Memorial donations
made directly to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund or the Prince
County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
