Ford - The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, June 30, 2006, of Spurgeon William Ford, of 537 Sheen Street, Summerside, aged 78 years. Born in Southwest Lot 16, he was the son of Wilma (Smith)Ford, Summerside, and the late Beecher Ford. Survived by his wife Ethel (Baglole) Ford; children Dorothy Gamble (David MacLeod), Summerside; Randy (Darlene Wadman), Lot 16; Rickie, NS; Barry (Chandra Steele), Summerside; Shawn (Melissa Muttart), Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Tracey Gamble (Jamie DesRoches), Lot 16; Natalie (Daniel) Arsenault, Kelvin Grove; Angele Gamble, Korea; Kyle Ford; Samantha, James, Jesse and Effie Ford; Santana Muttart; great-grandchildren Caraleise Laughlin and Rory DesRoches; sisters and brothers Isabel ( the late Vernon J.) Gallant, Summerside; Evelyn Gallant, St. Catharines, ON; Georgie Ford, Summerside; Hazel (George) Pavlinic, Parry Sound, ON; Wendell (Sandra) Ford, St. John, NB; Wilma (the late Scott) Ferrier, Waterville, NS; and by sisters-in-law Velda (Ronald) Gallant, Woodstock, ON; Grace (Levi) Jeffery, Woodstock, ON; and Vivian (Claude) Baglole, St. John, NB. Predeceased by a sister Wanda (Clifford) Gosh and a brother Raymond Ford.

Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at1:30 p.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the P.E.I. Lung Association or the Lot 16 United Church would be appreciated.
